1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using paplix ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

paplix provides visual diff and conflict resolution tools for KiCad projects integrated with GitHub and GitLab. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights of others

5. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

IMPORTANT: You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or inability to access your data for any reason.

6. Pricing and Payment

Certain features of the Service may be offered for a fee. You agree to pay all fees associated with your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PAPLIX, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR:

  • LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA
  • DATA LOSS OR CORRUPTION
  • SERVICE INTERRUPTION OR COMPUTER DAMAGE
  • ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless paplix and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law
